Right we’ve done it, we’ve seen off January and the blues that come with it! Pay day has finally arrived (don’t blow it all on that Charlotte Tilbury palette…. oh go on then) and now is the time to kick 2017’s arse. Remember those goals you set but kind of forgot about in a fog of left over Christmas chocolate and bubbly (just me then). Well now is the perfect time to re-read them, re-evaluate and set the wheels in motion.
Sometimes these goals require you to have a little bit of self belief. And finding that motivation at this time of year when it’s grey, dark, cold and raining can be difficult. But now that January is drawing to a close and the prospect of February being a short and sweet month and Spring being just around the corner, it can be just the little boost you need.
I feel like there is so much I want to achieve this year and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin. January is a slog of a month but suddenly I’m feeling energised and ready to set the wheels in motions. There’s my Virtual Assistant work, growing Beauty, Baby and Me, considering if I want another baby; all fairly big and important commitments. Things that I have plans for, ideas, thoughts.
But one of the most important things I’d like to do this year, and I don’t quite know how yet but hopefully through my writing, is to open others eyes. Make others realise life is so much easier and far more pleasant if we can just be nice to each other, supportive, kind. I’ve already harped on a lot about this so far this year, and it’s only the 30th January, but I’ve been pretty shocked at some of the negativity I’ve experienced and witnessed in just the last couple of weeks. Somehow, and I don’t know how yet, I’d love to make a difference.
Whatever your goals are this year, lets use the fact that Spring is just around the corner, sunshine beckons and slowly but surely the days are getting that little bit longer to motivate you. Focus on the positives to help you achieve the good you want in life.
Happy Monday All. Remember, be nice!
I’ll stop nagging now!
Lots of Love
