Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine.
As always with a Monday, I am starting the week with a bit of positivity as part of the wonderful Candid Cuddles Linky with Becky at Cuddle Fairy. I have to say a HUGE thank you to Becky for making me her Featured Candid Cuddler of the week for last weeks post which you can read here.
So, on to this weeks message. The one thing I’ve come to notice as a Mother is we are constantly looking forward; we wonder when they will smile, laugh, sit up, crawl, walk. And we compare our babies to others who may have already done these things and want ours to hurry up!
One thing I realised this week with Josh turning 6 months is that, despite it being a cliche, it’s incredibly true that you don’t know where the time goes! It is absolutely flying by and it makes me want to cherish every single day, not wish them away. Don’t get me wrong, it’s so exciting seeing Josh get older and start learning how to do things, but I don’t want this time of him being little, and dependant on me, to whizz past with me willing the days away till he does all these things. I just want to enjoy it.
And I think this quote can be true of so many things. We do tend to wish time away and, in turn, it means we aren’t always making the most of the day in front of us. As I said in last weeks post, you just don’t know what is around the corner and it’s important to make the most of every day.
It’s always great to have things to look forward to, but also try and make time to find something to look forward to every day; it can be something as simple as treating yourself to a take out Mocha Latte or the new Cosmopolitan, or, more importantly, having time with your children and appreciating every moment with them no matter how small. There are huge milestones to look forward to with our little ones and with life in general, but every day is a milestone in it’s own way. Make each day count!
Have a great week loves! <3 xx

Oh a lovely positive post – I love it 🙂 #mg
All are such wonderful quotes! I’m trying to do less to do more myself these days. Become more aware of my surroundings and drink them in.

It’s easier said than done sometimes but is something we should all try and do xx
Those baby months go by so quick even though the days can feel long. It’s good to enjoy what baby is doing rather than looking forward. I LOVE the stop waiting quote – it’s perfection. You are very welcome – I loved all of your quotes last week – love them all this week too!! Thank you for sharing with #candidcuddles

They are absolutely flying by. It’s so true though; we can’t wait for things to happen we have to make them happen xx #candidcuddles
I love every one of these quotes. I’m definitely guilty of always looking toward the days ahead of me instead of finding the little joys to be grateful for right now.
Thank you for the lovely reminders. I enjoyed your post.? #mg
I just love the sentiment to this post, and all those quotes that ring so true to me, treasure every moment xx #mg
