  • Monday Motivation – You’re what makes you YOU!

    Morning Everyone,

And Happy Monday! I know it’s nearly impossible to be motivated on a grey October Monday morning but hopefully I can send a bit of sparkle your way!

I came across todays quotes last week and they are just what I needed. After a couple of challenging weeks I’ve felt a bit….. meh! Unmotivated. Tired. Just out of sorts really. And it’s been affecting my blog as there is loads I need to be doing on it. These quotes reminded me of how much I love my blog and how I try to make it unique.

img_2268It was the kick up the arse I needed, combined with some amazing comments I received on my very honest and open posts last week. I’ve never been one to beat around the bush; I’m very honest, open and to the point. Even to the point I truly believe you can see what I’m feeling or thinking on my face. I’m crap at hiding my emotions. But then I thought that’s what’s unique about me, both as a person and as a blogger.

There are so many amazing bloggers out there, sometimes I feel like I really pale in comparison. I’m only a year into blogging and I’m still learning and finding my feet. But somehow, I guess through being myself, I seem to be making a success of it. And that’s what I really want to do! I feel so lucky to be at home, with Josh, and getting to write. And it spurs me on to make a real success of my blog. I think writing a little differently, possibly too honest at times but hey that’s me, is what makes me unique and makes you guys enjoy reading it! That’s what makes me different.

img_2267I think being a little bit different is a good thing. No one ever thinks that when they’re younger; I certainly didn’t! I had red hair so I certainly looked different and I got ripped for it! So I resented anything that made me different cause it made me stand out from everyone else……..! Saying that now just makes me think “why”! Because now I love my hair, and anything else that makes me stand out from everyone else. Being you, being different, being yourself, is what makes you beautiful (how very 1D!). And that goes for inside and out.

So what ever it is that makes you different from all the rest, own it! Roll with it, embrace it, use it to your advantage! And I bet those around you will love you for it even more!

    Have a good week beauts

Love your quotes! I completely agree that being different is being yourself. That’s what makes you, you, and in the world of blogging, that is what will make you stand out. #CandidCuddles xx

Great quotes and I love red hair. I love it so much and it looks so good on me that I went from blond to red and I have no intentions in going back. Red heads are awesome! Popping over from #candidcuddles

Ooh I’m sure this theme is new. I’m such a blog geek. I love that quote, wow, never heard it before. It makes me think of my almost 10 yo nephew who went to his school’s book day today in a girl’s dress because his chosen book was David Walliam’s The Boy in a Dress! How many boys of his age would have done the same? Just be you definitely. Those who love it love it and those who don’t don’t. Thanks so much for joining #candidcuddles (I did laugh about the Monday bit tee hee.)
